One drawback of Wacom tablet pens is that the rubber grip deteriorates over time, becoming slick and sticky with age. Replacing the worn rubber grip with a wooden one keeps the surface from slipping even when your hands sweat, maintaining a firm, confident feel during long work sessions. The wood grain gives the grip a visually substantial presence, yet it is actually about 40% lighter than the rubber grip — reducing strain on your fingers and hand.
Wood species: Hawaiian Koa Native to the Hawaiian Islands, Hawaiian Koa is known as "the wood where the gods dwell." In ancient Hawaii, it was a sacred material reserved exclusively for royalty. Among the many woods that have seen dramatic price increases in recent years, Hawaiian Koa stands out as one of the most striking examples. Although it does not appear in the Red Data Book of threatened species, strict logging regulations combined with dramatically reduced supply during the COVID-19 pandemic have made high-quality Koa one of the most sought-after materials among woodworkers worldwide.
