One drawback of Wacom tablet pens is that the rubber grip deteriorates over time, becoming slick and sticky with age. Replacing the worn rubber grip with a wooden one keeps the surface from slipping even when your hands sweat, maintaining a firm, confident feel during long work sessions. The wood grain gives the grip a visually substantial presence, yet it is actually about 20% lighter than the rubber grip — reducing strain on your fingers and hand.
Wood species: Karin Burl (Burmese Padauk Burl) A tropical broadleaf hardwood of the Leguminosae family, native to tropical Asia. Known as a "Chinese exotic wood" (karaoki), it features a warm reddish hue and a natural luster that glows from within. The wood contains a distinctive apricot-like aromatic compound, but it is an entirely different plant from the karin fruit tree (Chaenomeles), which belongs to the rose family. Recent harvesting restrictions have caused its market price to surge sharply. This product uses "karin burl" — a rare figured wood considered the most prized grade of karin, characterized by an intricately interlocked grain pattern. [Product Specifications] Dimensions: 75mm × 15.5mm (maximum width) Weight: 4g Wood: Karin Burl (Burmese Padauk Burl) Surface finish: Plant-based coating (matte finish), beeswax (beeswax finish), nitrocellulose lacquer (varnish finish)
