One drawback of Wacom tablet pens is that the rubber grip deteriorates over time, becoming slick and sticky with age. Replacing the worn rubber grip with a wooden one keeps the surface from slipping even when your hands sweat, maintaining a firm, confident feel during long work sessions. The wood grain gives the grip a visually substantial presence, yet it is actually about 40% lighter than the rubber grip — reducing strain on your fingers and hand.
Wood species: Yamazakura (Japanese Mountain Cherry / Prunus jamasakura) Starting as a pale yellowish-brown, the color deepens and richens beautifully with use over time. Its fine, tight grain and lustrous sheen make it a favored material for fine furniture, as well as for woodwind instruments, piano casings, and lacquerware bases. The barrel shape can be customized beyond the standard profile to include wide-diameter, triangular, and hexagonal options, so you can choose the one that best suits your grip style.
